Funds from grants help us do our work, but the people right here in our community know us best. Donations from community members ensure we can reach the most vulnerable groups with the most significant impact. We would be honored if you’d consider making a direct donation so we can better serve those who have been marginalized due to the systems in place that we’re working to change.
The Multicultural Coalition Inc. (MCI), a 501c3, was created during the COVID-19 pandemic to improve barrier-free access to COVID vaccinations for ALL members of our community, especially the historically underserved.
Today, we continue to serve by community organizing in three main areas: health equity, affordable/accessible housing and workforce development. We are part of a growing community network to meet the needs of the people through action, social connectedness and trust ... where and how each person experiences belonging.
One mission, one vision
The Multicultural Coalition (MCI) is a movement created to acknowledge racial biases and proactively reach diverse populations with meaningful communication and actionable services to remove barriers, elevate all voices and foster community engagement.
Our collective vision is to improve the lives of all by creating a community that prospers together. While this committee was developed around COVID-19, MCI’s work will continue into the future to address other areas such as education, employment and overall racial inequity, with areas to focus on always led by the committee’s insights and needs.
